Worship Ministry

Our Vision

We are committed to a personal lifestyle which honors God.  We strive to create a culture of authentic worship at Gateway.  We will make ourselves vessels of God’s outpouring Spirit leading others to an attitude of surrender through worship. We continue to seek the vision of multicultural and multigenerational worship within our church.

1 Tim 4: 10-16 “We have put our hope in the living God who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe. Set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Do not neglect your gift which was given you…be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them. Watch your life closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.”

Opportunities to Serve:

Mulitmedia:

  • Experience: basic computer skills a must, PowerPoint helpful, basic knowledge of worship songs helpful, training provided.
  • Multimedia leader/point person: we are looking for someone who is skilled at backgrounds, videos and all things multimedia.
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers that can run multimedia during combined service with our Encuentro Hispano ministry.
  • Will serve one time per month in the multimedia booth.

 

Musicians:

  • Experience: prior experience preferred. Auditions to be held for those interested.
  • Also seeking bilingual Spanish musicians that can play during combined services and/or help our Encuentro Hispano ministry.

 

Singers:

  • Experience: prior singing experience helpful. Auditions to be held for those interested.

 

Sound Techs:

  • Experience: prior sound experience preferred, training provided.
  • Will serve one time per month in the sound booth.
