At Gateway, we believe that the basic building block of the church is the Network. A Network is a small group of people whose lives are networked and intertwined—ideally four to eight people. The foundation of the connections ministry is the Network ministry, an interconnected larger network of these small Networks. Rather than leaving these relationships to chance, we are intentional about providing a way for people to be plugged into a small, supportive Network in which the members experience a shared life together.
In addition to the basic Networks, most of Gateway’s ministries have a small group component. Both Awana and flipt (Youth) function this way. The Men’s Ministry has brotherhoods, groups of 3-6 men who meet weekly for support and accountability. For information about these ministries, click on their respective links on the main page. For information about joining or visiting a Network, contact Pastor Larry Yurk (lyurk53@comcast.net).
