Tomorrow Night at 7 p.m. Men’s Ministry Fellowship
Meeting: This is the second men’s ministry night of the season where
Pastor Mike will be presenting a teaching on Mental Purity. In today’s culture,
with the ever-present Internet, Christian men are fighting against lust and
pornography. Some estimates are that over 50% of Christian men struggle with
pornography. Pastor Mike has an answer for this that goes way beyond “Just say
no.” Invite your friends to this heart-healing time
ATTENTION WOMEN: Learn how to become the beautiful woman you've always
longed to be by attending a Beautiful Woman class at 7:00 p.m. beginning the
last Friday of June and continuing once a month for the next 12 months. This
marriage mentoring program covers: Revealing the Truth, Inviting Romance,
Speaking the Truth in Love, and other topics related to marriage. For more

Men's Ministry Events: Men’s Retreat: We as a men’s ministry want to have
our men’s retreat and we have found a place called Diamond Arrow Christian Camp.
It is located in Nevada City, the dates are July 13th and 14th, a Friday night
and Saturday, returning Saturday night. Cost is $65. To assure you a place at
this retreat, we need to have your money by this Sunday at the latest so we can
secure the camp.
Baptismal Service: We honor those who are being baptized
this morning and affirm their commitment to follow Christ: Brian Jang, Aaron,
Ester Onica, Anessa Cloristin. We will celebrate this occasion with a BBQ at the
Chapman’s house for all the friends and family of those being baptized.
Volunteers for flipt: We are looking for people who feel
called to youth ministry. We need group leaders for junior high boys and girls
as well as high school boys and girls, and people who are willing to help this
ministry by transporting kids before and after group on Wednesdays and crowd
control.
Coffee Break Reminder: Parents, please accompany children to the goodies
at coffee break and ensure they take a small, reasonable amount.
Giving: During May - $19,862; Faith Goal for May: $26,500
During May, it is customarily the month when our congregation begins their
summer vacations. Because of this, we saw a $7,000 shortfall in giving. If this
continued during June, we would fall behind on our financial obligations. Please
pray about this.
