Who we are..
 

Lead Pastor Mike Phillips along with his wife Kathy is Canadian and began his pastoral ministry in Winnipeg, Manitoba. During the years, Mike and Kathy have worked in British Columbia and recently, Montana. They have three children, John, Andrew, Meaghan, and one cat Mozart, who is oblivious to everything except food and sleep. Mike is a published author of books and over 50 articles on computers, counseling and church life. He also is a qualified counselor and has training in Theophostic and Cognitive/Behavioral approaches to therapy. Kathy and Mike celebrate their 24th year in ministry this July as well as their 24th wedding anniversary. Kathy is also our Director of Christian Education, with dual degrees in Religious Education and Nursing. Kathy is currently upgrading her degrees to become a Physician’s Assistant.

Assistant Pastor Rick Gall. “Rick and Katie have served at Gateway since June of 2003. Before that they lived in Redding, California, where they helped start a new church and Rick attended Simpson College. He graduated in April of 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies and Biblical Studies. Rick and Katie are primarily involved in Cell Group Ministry and AWANA Kids Club (Junior High age).
