We are a participating church in the Live Well Natomas Program. Go their website for more details: livewellnatomas.orgDuring January, Gateway will be focusing on the biblical understanding of the physical place in which we live. Does God care about physical places or only spiritual realities? We contend that the physical place we live, work and play is on equal par with the spiritual realm.
In the 1800s, Sacramento was a crossroads. Settlers came west to the lands of the Central Valley and San Francisco. Goldpanners arrived in SF and headed to the Goldrush. All stopped in Sacramento to catch their breath. It was a mosaic of cultures, languages, ages, and goals. Not much has changed. The area of Sacramento where Gateway is located – Natomas – is called the Most Culturally Diverse School District in America. Our church looks like the community. Though our primary language is English, we have services in Spanish as well. We have community members from ten different ethnicities. Among us, you will be equipped to serve. There are no seat-warmers. Along the way, expect to be transformed by the power of the Spirit.
Join us this Sunday for a time of surrender and worship before the Lord:
